Mindful of a rider’s need for both safety and aesthetics, Horse Pilot took on the challenge of creating an airbag vest that combines comfort, protection, and discretion. Together with In&Motion, a company specialized in developing airbag solutions for skiing and motorcycling, we designed this new-generation airbag and based on the new NF S72-800:2022 standard. Its ergonomic shape, bi-stretch lightweight material makes the vest extremely light while supporting the air bag’s inflation mechanism. The vest is easily worn under compatible clothing. The mesh panels on the sides and back ensure proper breathability. The cable that connects the rider to the saddle is magnetized; it can be connected and disconnected with one hand, so that the rider does not have to let go of the reins. A red pull tab serves as a reminder to the rider to disengage the airbag before dismounting. New simpler loading mechanism to the original Horse Pilot Vest.
